About The Team

Content Marketing plays a meaningful role in Lummo’s growth, contributing tangible results to our growth and expansion plans.

Content Marketing is part of the Demand Generation function and partners very closely with other teams within this organisation, such as SEO, Sales and Customer Success. 

This role will be based out of India and requires close collaboration with our partners in Indonesia and Singapore.

 About The Role

As the Content Lead, you will have the opportunity to shape the content strategy for Lummo’s global expansion. 

You’ll be totally comfortable publishing 3-5 short but insightful posts a day on Social Media. And you’ll work closely with internal and external subject matter experts as well as do your own research in writing one long form content a week.You’ll build up your own internal contacts, learn who’s got insights into different areas of the tech world and prepare content strategy for Lummo. You’ll also help in creating and crafting Landing page copies for the website.

You’ll also tweet and post to social media several times a day – even as you research the topics you’re writing about that day. You are not doing all this alone you will have a small team of 1-2 people helping you.

What will you work on?

  • Build and manage a rich content calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.).
  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
  • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
  • Help in copywriting our ad copies. Build a benchmark report on conversion metrics that can act as a good reference for the team

What does it take?

  • 5+ years of experience in a Content Writing role
  • A strong understanding of online customer acquisition, and conversion optimization
  • Skilled at managing a cross-functional team of analysts, designers, sales and support teams.
  • Strategic thinker: you challenge conventional wisdom and are eager to reinvent modern marketing tactics 
  • Top notch  writing and copy editing skills (be prepared to share writing samples)
  • Passionate about understanding the latest trends and best practices in Content
  • Excellent understanding of our customer needs and the product and translating that into content initiatives
  • Understanding of CMS. Wordpress will be a plus.
  • Journalism degree will be a plus
