What will you do?

  • Acquiring new merchants focused on Large Merchants
  • Define, implement and execute onboarding, development and growth strategy for high impact merchants across categories 
  • Maintain retention of sellers and growth of the merchants’ portfolio to achieve target
  • Carry out analysis & survey & market research to better understand customer requirements in each category and onboard sellers who match those criteria
  • Work closely internal departments such as Operations, BI & Data, Revenue Ops, CX, GM, and COO to drive growth for the category
  • Manage the steps and policies to increase retention of the large merchants

What does it take?

  • 3 to 5 years experience as a Category Manager, Category Management, and other related fields (in e-commerce companies preferred) 
  • Have proven experience in managing category and merchant growth, especially experience in building a category from scratch and onboarding merchants
  • Experience in acquiring merchants is a must
  • Have the merchant-centric mindset, provide an empty chair in the discussion to understand about merchant’'s behaviour and needs
  • A can-do attitude with strong cross-functional team coordination in order to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
